The toolkit: teaching and learning pedagogies audit
We began our exploration of effective practices in teaching and learning in music and English language education by compiling an audit. Not the most enticing of words, our ‘audit’ captured the existing practices used by the project participants. They are approaches that work for us, and that we hope will provide inspiration to you in your classrooms.
The approaches are arranged by subject, the focus of the activity and the pedagogical approach, whether it suits a formal or non-formal setting, the intended age group of students, when in the year it might be taught, the number of students that can be involved, any resources that are needed, links to references, as well as the intended impact on the teacher and student.
